Who is responsible for your information

This website is operated by 4DL (“4DL”, “we”, “us”). We are responsible for the personal information you send through it. For any privacy question or request, reach us through the contact page.

What this website collects

Enquiry form. When you send a project enquiry through the contact page, we receive what you type into it: your name, work email, company or organization, country or project location, an optional phone number, the type of project, your description of the challenge and an approximate timeline.

Technical data. Our hosting provider processes basic technical information, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, in order to deliver the website and protect it from abuse. The enquiry form uses your IP address briefly to limit repeated submissions; it is not stored with your enquiry.

Motion preference. If you use the motion control in the footer, your choice is saved in your own browser so it is remembered on your next visit. It is not sent to us.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not set advertising or analytics cookies and does not load third-party tracking scripts. If that changes, we will update this notice and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent first.

Why we use enquiry information

We use the details you send only to respond to your enquiry, to discuss the project you describe and, if we go on to work together, to prepare a proposal. We rely on your request and your consent given on the form, and on our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries. We do not use enquiry details for unrelated marketing and we do not sell them.

Who receives it

Your enquiry is read by the 4DL team. To run the website and deliver enquiries we use service providers that process information on our behalf and under contract: Vercel (website hosting) and an email or form-delivery service that passes the enquiry to our inbox. These providers may process information outside your country, including in the United States, with safeguards such as standard contractual clauses where the law requires them.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless they lead to a business relationship, in which case they are kept for as long as that relationship and our legal record-keeping obligations require. You can ask us to delete an enquiry sooner.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to restrict or object to its use, to withdraw consent, and to complain to your local data-protection authority. To make a request, contact us through the contact page. We will respond within the time the applicable law allows.

Security

The website is served only over encrypted connections (HTTPS), and enquiry details are sent directly to our delivery service without being stored on the web server.

Changes to this notice

We will update this notice when the way the website handles information changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
